David Harbour Says Stranger Things Has An End, And It Might Not Be Too Far Away

As fans of Netflix’s Stranger Things know all too well, we’ve had to wait twice as long for the upcoming season, it will be somewhere around two years once the third season of one of the streaming giant’s biggest hit shows. While fans have seen a teaser Season 3, that featured a new mall for the town of Hawkins, Indiana, not a lot is known about it.

Actor David Harbour, who plays Sheriff Hopper on the show says there is an end in sight for the nostalgia heavy show. Harbour told his thoughts to Cnet, you can check out what he had to say below.

“We’re either going to season 4 or season 5. It’s still being debated. I do know the arc of the story, though. This was something that I discussed with [show creators] the Duffer brothers right from Day One.”

I think it’s possible for the show to end the story of the characters we have come to love, and start a new series about things that are even, stranger. Dive into another part of the 80s, or perhaps even move into the 90s. Not that I didn’t enjoy the show’s second season, however i didn’t find it as entertaining as the Season 1.

I really thought having the sort of devolved demagorgans was a bit of a rehash, especially when the trailers pushed us toward the giant smoke spider monster creature. It’s still on the top of my list for returning shows, and I am anxiously awaiting its return.
