I figured now might be a good time to go over LRM‘s record on Star Wars Exclusives. In other words what is hit rate for our exclusive Barside Buzz articles? I’ll list them all over the last 2 years (before that we didn’t cover much) and we will see where they all stand.
Before we start, this is only a list of exclusive stories we have ran. That means any Barside Buzz stories we provided a back up to from other insiders are not included here. So let’s get straight to it in chronological order, as that makes most sense to read.

Story: Andor shoot date
Status: Delayed due to COVID
Story: Hayden in talks for Obi-Wan
Status: Confirmed
Story: A Game of Thrones like series of interconnected Star Wars shows on Disney+
Status: Confirmed – we were first to say a Boba Fett show was coming, that Ezra/Thrawn would be back we backed up a previous report from elsewhere there was an Ahsoka show coming
Story: When the next Star Wars movie will come out?
Status: Unconfirmed – but this was pre-COVID so I wouldn’t say we remain confident on this one at all.
Story: Rian Johnson trilogy still on the way
Status: Far as we know this is still the case and Johnson confirmed it Here.
Story: The Star Wars sequels will not be erased
Status: We felt bad even having to comment on this, I’ll leave it there. Confirmed
Story: Hayden has signed on and it’s a big role
Status: Confirmed
Story: No Kathleen Kennedy isn’t getting fired, again
Status: Confirmed
Story: No Qui-Gon in Obi-Wan Kenobi
Status: Unconfirmed as yet, and this is one I kinda personally hope is wrong, because I want Qui-Gon’s voice at least.
Story: Obi-Wan shoot Date
Status: False, whole industry was being delayed and we know when Kenobi begun and ended filming now

Story: Ray Park Out as Darth Maul for any live-action
Status: Remains to be seen, but we have heard previous live-action projects were converted to animated after this. The story was backed up by Jordan Maison and Jeremy Conrad at the time. Or at least that’s what they heard matched with what we reported. We also then reported that rumored animated shows involving Maul were at one point supposed to be live-action Here.
Story: There was issues on Mando Season 2- but they were resolved
Status: Response to reports Pascal may be out as Mando – He’s not, but there were a few issues and that’s all I gotta say about that.
Story: Gina Carrano starring Cara Dune series in the works
Status: Weird one, as we all know this was true, it was Rangers of the New Republic, but then Carrano got fired so, it’s never actually going to happen.
Story: There will be a The Mandalorian Season 3
Status: Might seem daft now, but at the time there were serious worries from fans there would be no Season 3 of The Mandalorian. It’s filming right now. Confirmed
Story: Why Season 3 of Mandalorian was delayed?
Status: Might never get confirmed, or debunked, so we wait and see if any of this ever comes out.
Story: Some fan favorite Bounty Hunters will show up in Book of Boba Fett
Status: Confirmed – though our guesses at the time were wrong, we only published them as guesses. The news was correct as we got Krrstantan and Cad Bane.
Story: Hera to replace Cara Dune on Rangers of the New Republic
Status: Unconfirmed – Rangers was cancelled, or said to be no longer in active development. Our source said this option was seriously explored. Guess it didn’t work out?

Story: Bossk To appear in The Book of Boba Fett
Status: False – Yep, we know he wasn’t in it. So far I don’t have an answer as to why we got this wrong? We are however making inquiries to our source and will update you if we can at any point.
Story: More than one Inquistor in Obi-Wan Kenobi
Status: Unconfirmed, but with other rumor and even more we’ve heard. Yeah, this one will be confirmed in May/April folks.
Story: Kallus will be in Obi-Wan Kenobi
Status: Unconfirmed and we haven’t heard much about this since. I may have to make further inquiries.
Story: Ezra/Thrawn casting
Status: Unconfirmed and we don’t think it will be till we see Ahsoka released. Still 100% certain on this news though
Story: Cad Bane will be in Book of Boba Fett
Status: Confirmed
Story: Acolyte will not film in Pinewood in February 22
Status: Confirmed as The Acolyte will shoot now in Pinewood but later than what was reported elsewhere which was the point of our article.
Story: High Republic Movie
Status: Unconfirmed still, but we now are certain this is a Disney+ series under the working title of ‘Grammar Rodeo’. You can see our latest coverage of this on one of the related section above.

Ah no we will leave that to the readers themselves, in other words you to decide. We here at LRM are certainly not the most prolific of leakers. However, we like to think what we do leak we make sure is as up to date and accurate as we can possibly get. We hope you agree.
